A grid is printed on the front face of these beam blocks with clear numbers on the grid's edge to indicate height in inches. All of the BB-series beam blocks are made from black-anodized aluminum alloy for safe, reflection-free blocking of laser beams in both research lab and production environments.
These beam block tool holders employ a low surface Gauss magnet to lightly, but firmly, hold in place for accurate alignment, even while holding various Allen wrenches. The magnetic bases makes moving and placing the beam block/wrench stand quick and extremely convenient during alignment of most optical systems.
