The 05Q620BB.HR2 BroadBeam High Reflector Laser Mirror is 12.7 mm in diameter, 3.1 mm thick, and is coated for 350-1100 nm, optimized for 0-50° angle of incidence. BroadBeam High Reflectors have an average reflectivity of 97.5% or better. They are manufactured using UV grade fused silica substrates and metal-dielectric hybrid coating. Fused Silica is synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide of extremely high purity. This non-crystalline, colorless silica glass combines a low content of inclusions with high refractive index homogeneity, a very low thermal expansion coefficient, and excellent transmittance in the wavelength regime from UV to NIR. As a result, these mirrors will perform better with temperature fluctuations and is ideal for high-energy laser applications due to its high energy damage threshold. Typically metallic coatings suffer from more rapid degradation over time when compared to dielectrics. Broadband mirrors use a metal dielectric hybrid coating that is more resistant to humidity, thermal changes, abrasion and salt exposure, providing long-term value for your applications.
