Post clamps can secure an optical mount at any position along the length of an optical post. A C-Clamp is a multifunction post clamp which can be directly attached to a post without having to slide it on from the end of the post, and once installed, provides two mounting points 90° apart for the mounting of components. Also, the C-Clamp can be used as a post collar with the Q-TMS series post holder or can be used to securely post-mount cylindrical optics.

Features
Multifunction Pedestal Clamps
The C-1P C-Clamp is a multifunction post clamp which can interface optic mounts to a 1-in diameter optical post. The open side of the C-clamp shape provides direct attachment to posts using one of the two mounting points located 90° apart. One of these points has a threaded (8-32) M4 hole, while the other has a counter bored through hole. This C-Clamp can also be used as a post collar when using the Q-TMS series post holders for height indexing in the same way Model C-0.5 does for 0.5 in. optical posts. These are available in both English and Metric versions.
Ideal for Periscopes
Post clamps can be used to vary the height of optical mounts without giving up the stability of our pedestal risers, making them ideal for building sturdy periscopes. In particular, two PS-SC post clamps are used in our BSD-2A Standard Periscope to mount Ultima mirror mounts with 45° mirror holders onto an 8 in. (203.2 mm) pedestal. Additionally, our 9141NF post clamps are featured in our Beam Splitting Periscopes.
