Plano-Convex Lens, ZnSe, 38.1 mm, 7.63 in. Focal Length, 8 mm Edge, DURALENS

The 61002-117 DURALENS™ coated Plano-Convex Infrared Lens is made of ZnSe material and is Cincinnati^® OEM compatible. It has a diameter of 1.5 in. (38.1 mm), edge thickness of 8.0 mm, and a focal length of 7.63 in. Zinc Selenide's low absorption coefficient makes it a perfect candidate for focusing applications using high power CO₂ lasers. They are designed for high durability and accuracy and manufactured by automated CNC technology to assure complete uniformity. In most laser cutting machines, meniscus lenses are used because they produce a smaller focus diameter. In some machines, plano-convex lenses are used because their production costs are a little bit lower.
